We are happy that the governments have offered us a total of 85,000 places for refugees from Macedonia. The bottleneck, however, is the number of people who are actually being flown out. More people need to be flown out of Macedonia.

The stories ... seem to indicate that a lot more people have been killed over the past few days ... than in any other single case of attack before.

We are extremely concerned, since the people are terrified. We are absolutely sure that it's not that the people turned around themselves. They are being forcible prevented from leaving Kosovo.

Otherwise, the people will be living on top of each other, under extreme weather conditions, which will eventually lead to disease and other problems.

They say a humanitarian disaster is looming in the capital unless some kind of cease-fire is arranged and humanitarian supplies can be brought in.

We've always said that fear is the main problem. And that needs to be allayed.

Many of the 400 displaced people living there have lost belongings.

They alleged 20 of them (the men) were executed and they actually saw the bodies.

We are very far away from returning refugees to Kosovo or returning displaced people within the province to their original homes because, as we speak, people are still being expelled from Kosovo.
