"Kirby Smart" is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the defensive coordinator for the Alabama Crimson Tide football/Alabama Crimson Tide. A native of Bainbridge, Georgia, Smart was an All-Southeastern Conference/SEC defensive back at Georgia Bulldogs football/Georgia under defensive coordinator Joe Kines.
