It's always disappointing to lose but we got the first game under our belt for a lot of new guys. The ball bounces a funny way sometimes. The offense dropped some balls, but the team never quit. Now we'll watch film and get ready for Orlando.

It's one thing to see it on TV, it's a totally different thing to see it up close. It's unlike anything you could imagine. It's a really, really bad situation. It's much better now, but when I went down there in September, it was pretty bad. Think of the worst horror/destruction movie you've ever seen and multiply that by 10 because you're actually witnessing it.

I found out the next day, after I'd gone public that I wasn't going to run, that the city manager probably wasn't coming back and so I decided to stay in the race. With Jared leaving and a new mayor coming in, I believed it could be a benefit for me to stay.

The start of the game was huge and we didn't start well. It seemed like we never got that momentum rolling.
It was a good feeling, there were a lot of people just driving by thanking me and telling me 'God bless you' and you know like I said I'm just doing my job.
