I was really impressed with him. He ran a really good race. He had a fast car and ran a good line.

They did a really good job. They did a good job getting down (to the low) groove at an accelerated speed. I was really watching the windshield (for rain drops). There's nothing worse when you're first starting out than dealing with that (slick track).
