It was a workmanlike performance but I'm very pleased.

Those were two cracking shots but I should've won the frame earlier. I'm really disappointed. That was an opportunity lost.

People were probably writing me off after I missed the black, but it didn't weigh me down and I felt good once I got the first frame on the board. I settled into my stride, got a bit of confidence and started to feel like I would make a high break or clear up every time I got in.

Marco played very well against Stephen Maguire and anyone who's in the quarter-finals has a chance of winning the tournament.

That threw me a lifeline and gave me a lot of hope. I kept fighting and hanging in there.

I am disappointed because the chance to win a tournament was right here.
