I thought she was dead, and the fireman thought she was dead. But then she moved.

It was about 30 minutes after the fire -- I was still running around, seeing if I could pull stuff away from the house, and then my neighbor walked up and handed me a pair of shoes. We still had about two-and-a-half inches of snow on the ground.

I figured we'd get some help, but not this much.

She wouldn't leave until all the kids were out. She kept running in-between my feet while I was trying to get the other kids.

To all those people, we say thank you.

We were coming home daily and finding stuff left on the porch.

We have a place at the dinner table for her.

We're renting from him and are planning to discuss finances at a later date.

We received a tremendous amount of community support.
