That's completely up to Billy (Beane, the A's GM). But if they bring Mark (Ellis) and Marco back, do I see me here? No.

I would think (general manager Billy Beane) doesn't want to pay someone $1 million to play at Triple-A, but my wife and I talked for about two days about it and we couldn't leave that money on the table. I have to provide for my family. The way I view it, it puts pressure on them -- if they don't want to pay me $1 million, maybe they can pick up part of it and move me somewhere else.

He's improved my game quite a bit. Especially doing the little things. I've never been around a coach like Wash, he's unique in the big leagues because he's still teaching. I'm going to take what I've learned from him wherever I go.

Mark called me this morning and said, 'I'm sick, get ready to play,' ... He's definitely the wrong guy; we do not need to lose him. I've just got to do my best and hope I don't hurt the team defensively.
