I'm such a fan. It's terrific fun to watch these kids; I had a number of them on my 1990 team. It's fun to see how far it's all come and how well the young kids play.
Passing and serving needs to improve, it just needs to become a little more consistent. But we don't really worry about it too much, it can be easily fixed.
I'm looking forward to not competing. Pride takes over after a while. You remember how you used to play and how you used to perform shots that you can't play now. That's what's frustrating -- knowing you were at a certain level at one point in your career, and you're not there.
Once we got that under our belt, we stepped right up again and played really well.
We played really well the whole tournament. Everything just fell our way.
Those will be big games, two big tests.
The whole team played really good defense and we passed the ball really well.
We are a consistent serving and hitting team all the way round. And the girls play great defense. Not a lot hits the floor.
It was neck and neck the whole way. Very exciting.
