I am absolutely appalled by what went on and frankly our girls should never have accepted the gold medals.

A lot of people in the temple had donated money to the Red Cross and the Salvation Army, but then they started asking what else can we do.

The parking lots of the hotels around Jackson were jammed with various vehicles - power companies, county ambulances, relief trucks like ours, FEMA vehicles, fire and rescue trucks. FEMA was controlling all of the hotel rooms. It was kind of exciting, being at the center of the relief effort.

They are out on the curb waiting for me, and I am still down at the other baggage claim waiting for them.

This was a must-win situation. It's very disappointing. Now, every team we play is ahead of us [in the standings], and we have to try to focus on beating all of them.

I just felt today was a must-win situation, so we came here with a positive attitude. Both of us are struggling, so I knew it was going to be a hard-fought battle. We came out and played harder than they did.

I was sure we'd get it tied and get things rolling. But every time we did, they made a big shot.

We're capable of doing this every night.

But what we do already know is that it will reveal a very great deal about the anatomy and evolution of an early ape- man.

On our first day of driving as we were heading out of Massachusetts, it was great to see other vehicles on the road also carrying down relief supplies. There was a caravan of 12 to 15 ambulances heading south out of New York state.

We prepare well for every game, but we keep coming out with slow starts and digging ourselves a hole. We were getting the shots we wanted, but we just weren't getting them down. It gets to some people. That's probably part of the problem.

I haven't had that much fun in a long time. It seemed like everything was going in.
