Each access point pulls the electricity of about a 40-watt light bulb.
Some people will like the flexibility to take their account wherever they want to go. This gives people additional options and brings in additional competition.
We have deployed 600 access points (transmitters that send radio signals to wireless-enabled computers and hand-held devices). We will add about 50 more in the next couple of weeks.
