"Karl D. Benson" is the commissioner of the Sun Belt Conference. Previously, Benson was the commissioner of the Mid-American Conference from 1990 to 1994 and the Western Athletic Conference from 1994 to 2012. Benson graduated from Boise State University after transferring from Spokane Falls Community College; he played baseball at both colleges.

We obviously need the workers for a lot of jobs.

Regardless of the number of teams, you are always looking for something that distinguishes one team from another. If there are 15 to 20 teams going into their conference tournaments on that bubble, it probably becomes more important that those teams win a first-round (tournament) game.

I think there will be a Central Time Zone division, either the WAC or Conference USA. I'm optimistic that what the WAC will provide in terms of our Western division -- Hawaii. Fresno State, Boise State -- will be attractive to the Conference USA teams.

I'm expecting, anticipating, that we will be using instant replay next year. It hasn't officially been approved, but we can't afford not to do it.

It continues to show that it is a game fans enjoy watching.
