I like that. I don't want him to just come in and think, 'I'm new, I've got to feel my way around.' We don't have time. He's got to put pressure on us to learn it, and I'm glad he's like that.

This is like a bonus for a good season. You work hard, you have a lot of fun, and you get to experience a little bit of everything. This really is a big-time bowl.

He's a sparkplug for the whole defense. Even if the team's down and out, if somebody comes and just knocks somebody out, it can change the momentum instantly. That's the type of player he is. He brings it every play, and he can really change the momentum.

The offense only got in the end zone once, and we haven't been in this new system long so that is a good sign.

It's hard to categorize what you haven't seen before. I guess what I'd say is: I can't believe he's a freshman. His instincts, his speed, you just don't see guys like that. He's going to be great one of these days.

As far as the money goes, it's good. A lot of people feel college players should be paid. I think, personally, the only way to keep the separation between college and pro is to not pay us.

It's like the guy drank a gallon of coffee. He's so animated, it seems like everything is an area of emphasis. That's what you want. You don't want him coming in laid back. With there being so much new stuff, he has to put pressure on us. It's on the players to learn it.

Mobility and quickness can help you in a lot of ways.

It's hard for me and Will and the guys who have been here. We're having to relate things to the old to learn them. These new guys are fresh. Everything they get is new -- they should soak it all up.
