There has to be a lot of relaxation (when performing 'OV'). If either of us is too tensed up or high strung, sometimes you can't make it through (the song) ... and it's a little bit more phonetic and faster live.

Our earlier stuff was a lot of short songs that were super complicated. Nothing ever repeated. It was one roller coaster after another. We felt like we kind of did that enough ... we wanted to focus on repetition and the things that we chose to repeat.

It's almost an unwritten rule. I'm not going to play a rock beat and he's not going to play a power chord. It's just not going to happen in this band. We could completely change our minds tomorrow and have a video and try and go on the Warped Tour. But I don't think we will.
