We're just asking that when you do come home, don't turn on the air conditioner, don't use your dish washer during the 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. period. Try to refrain from washing clothes during that period.

There really is no need to worry as long as customers continue to help us. It's always wise to conserve and that we move ahead with these other programs.

We could be in a situation where we would ask customers to take outages. Rolling outages would mean that certain sections of the island would be without power for about one hour, maybe two hours at a time.

Now instead of a contractor calling each individual utility, the contractor, when they obtain their permits, will call the Hawaii One Call Center and the One Call Center will send this email complete with diagrams and plots of the area to be excavated.
