Our defense has been terrific all season long. We have a lot of talented position players who can flat out get it done in the field. We take a lot of pride in playing good defense because we know that it usually comes down to who makes fewer mistakes.

I'm glad I got consistent at-bats, and got a lot of pitches to hit. I've done all right for myself. When you got a new coaching staff, coming in all they got is reports, probably it's better if they get a look at you on the field. You want to show them what you've got.

I'm just taking advantage of good pitches. I am seeing the ball real well and my confidence is pretty high right now.

Coming in, I thought I was going to play exclusively third base. From what I heard, that was going to be the plan.

I pretty much knew the guy wasn't going. I just didn't want to throw it soft.

Our bullpen is very solid. If we have the lead going into the sixth or seventh inning, we feel real good about our chances to win the game. Our relief pitchers have been pitching very well and we hope that continues throughout the rest of the season.
