"Jorge Alberto Francisco Valdano Castellanos" is an Argentina/Argentine former Football (soccer)/football player, coach, and the former General Manager of Real Madrid CF/Real Madrid. He was born in Las Parejas, Santa Fe/Las Parejas, Santa Fe Province.

Valdano was part of the Argentina national football team/Argentina team that won the 1986 FIFA World Cup. He scored four goals in the tournament, including the second goal against Germany national football team/West Germany in the 1986 FIFA World Cup Final/final.
