The others would disperse. Some would join other packs, some would starve. It's a live by the sword, die by the sword kind of thing.

The moose are getting eaten by the high number of wolves. With moose numbers so low, we would have expected to see wolf numbers drop by now. But they haven't. That really surprised us.
