The congressman is appreciative of their friendship. This doesn't change anything for our strategy. We've still got to work hard to earn the Republican nomination.

We're going to talk to the voters about the issues Colorado cares about. We don't begrudge him bringing in Eastern Bloc friends, but I suspect that the cowboys down at the coffeehouse in Delta are more interested what the candidates have to say about water and health care than whether or not the president of Poland is backing you.

We have yet to make a campaign appearance where he has not been asked about it. There is zero question that this is front and center on the mind of voters right now.

Marc can continue to look for support outside the United States. We are going to focus on Colorado. He has a lot of roots in Eastern Europe as an international financier, so it makes some sense he is going to bring in his friends to help him.

It's not a strong lead. ... At this point, (the election is) so far away, I think the conclusion we come to is, this is going to be a competitive race. Period. Regardless of who the Democrats put up. Colorado is a competitive state.
