Although I have only been here a short time, I am very excited to be at this point. This was a huge undertaking and it is a huge relief to be at this dedication ceremony for our new building.

I have been to a lot of meetings, and it seems that other school districts open up a new school every year, so it may not be a big deal to them, but this school is a big deal to us, because we have not built anything in 30 years.

The building was evacuated and the plumbers did not find any leaks. We do not know what caused the smell, it could have been a dead animal in the attic. It was not a natural gas leak, so we did not feel we needed to call the volunteer fire department.

By the beginning of the fall semester, everyone will be in their respective campus and our plan will be complete.
