"John Charles Dykstra", A.S.C. is a special effects artist and pioneer in the development of the use of computers in filmmaking. He was one of the original founders of Industrial Light & Magic, the special effects and computer graphics division of Lucasfilm. It's funny because I've gone through a long career that started in '75. I've had the opportunity to direct a couple of movies, and I've directed lots of commercials.
