Right now we are in the escalation mode, and right now our budgets are absorbing that. We're still moving forward.

When you look at the first and second King Philip games and the first and second Notre Dame games you can see significant improvement. The players have developed both individually and as a team.

We had beaten them by four the first time but that was when our defense was unpredictable and sloppy, it was actually quite good this time. We've put together two good defensive efforts in a row, which we hadn't gotten, so we're making progress. It took us a while but we finally did it.

They are a legit team. They played better, ran better and got the ball inside in the second half. We didn't make enough stops and didn't control our backboard. But we are a much more battle-tested team for the Division 3 tournament, which was the point of this tournament.
