I feel very confident that we have people that can come in and fill in. I don't have any problem with the whole situation. I think we'll be as competitive as we can be and I look forward to a good series. Good teams make adjustments and we're going to find out this weekend if we're that kind of team that can make adjustments irrespective of some of the things that we have to do.

We finally started swinging the bat the way we're capable of doing. It feels good that we started putting some pressure on the defense. That's all we can do. Hopefully, we'll continue to swing the bat.

A lot of our freshman from last year that we had to utilize, they now are getting used to the pitching. We've been making our hits count.

There's got to be a review of the rules and of the names of the people who participated in the fight, especially those who came off the bench or left their positions.

That was big time. In that situation, I would have been happy to escape with two runs scored. That play held them to one and more importantly, it kept the momentum on our side.

We had started him early and he had some hard luck as far as not getting the break. He'd pitch well and we don't hit. We wanted to see at giving him a different role. He's been very, very good about it.

He's always been a guy that we could count on to give us a lot of innings. Shaky first inning, but he settled down and really did a good job. He's a smart kid, quality pitcher, and once you weather what he did in the first inning, it gave him a lot of confidence.

If we don't score it doesn't matter how much they score. We're not generating and putting any pressure on their defense. If we can't do that, we can't be successful.

We're coming together as a team and I hope it continues.
