J.T. lost control a little bit toward the end, but he battled all day, especially with the cold. And the 10 strikeouts was especially good for the defense, keeping the ball out of play.

It was all there (yesterday). We got pitching, defense and timely hitting. So far we've only gotten two out of three.

He had mastery of everything today. Even psychologically, we're up 2-0, it's going to be tough to get three runs off of him. The way his curve was breaking, there's no way they're going to hit it as long as he's consistent. He had great command, which was the key.

He was amazing. He kept them off balance.
