Saturday was one of the highest highs I've had as coach, and unfortunately, for me personally, [yesterday] was the low point.

We won't take them for granted. This will be a very tough set of games on the road. They're very physical. Already it's been like playoff-level hockey, and this [weekend] is going to continue that.

Those guys have only been together for a couple of weeks and they look like they've been together all year.

The three of them slammed the door on a very good offensive hockey team, blocking shots and doing whatever they had to do.

Ohio did us a favor by beating Illinois twice, now we have to take care of business. I could try to describe to somebody what it feels like to be in these kind of games, but until they're out there -- you just have to experience it. I don't want them too fired up, but I don't want them scared either.

It ranks in the top ten victories in my 19 years at Penn State. I couldn't be happier for the players.

They all handle the puck. They all help each other get the puck. They have a tremendous work ethic, and they are very unselfish, and they all have skill. Those guys have only been together for a couple of weeks, and they look like they've been together all year.

We did that on purpose. We wanted to give them baptism by fire and I'd say so far we passed the test so far.

It was a great weekend to be a coach from Penn State named Joe.
