This has been a special group of seniors that has accomplished a lot. One of the things missing from their resume is a win over Navy. That's a huge void they would like to fill in.

Those are some pretty big hits.

Adam has a good defense in front of him that is playing better and he has been playing better as the season has progressed. I think the experiences he had last year, more or less being thrown into the fire, are benefiting him this season.

I am just proud to take over a program with such great tradition.

It wasn't my goal to come in here and turn everything around because they have had some success. With a lot of things, if it's not broke I am not trying to fix it. There are a lot of things that last year they did very well.

I am not in a situation where I am nervous or trying to live up to coach Emmer. I hope to honor the tradition by giving everything that I have to my guys and to the recruiting process to bring in the best players.

He was playing a little catch-up this spring and wasn't as sharp as we would have anticipated him to be. He has quickly turned that around and really has played some great lacrosse in recent weeks.
