Mrs. Reagan is glued to his side.

He sat up in a chair on Sunday afternoon, and has already done so this morning, and will be encouraged to do so again this afternoon.

He participated in physical therapy sessions yesterday morning and afternoon, sitting in a chair for over 30 minutes during each session.

It's been a really hard 10 years for her. She really appreciates the love and the prayers and the support that have been extended to her by so many people.

Ronald Reagan never got involved in a primary campaign, even for his own daughter when she ran for Congress. He firmly believed in the 11th commandment (speak no ill of another Republican).

It's my role to protect his image. He certainly wouldn't be playing this role in a primary campaign.

His appetite has increased, and he has even enjoyed some ice cream, his favorite dessert.

While it is an extremely sad time for Mrs. Reagan, there definitely is a sense of relief that he is no longer suffering and has gone to a better place.

Mrs. Reagan remains at his side and is actively participating in his physical therapy sessions. She is encouraged by his progress, but has been advised by the doctors to remain cautious in her optimism.
