We came out very strong and went after them on both ends of the court.
[The Bears] are a very talented and experienced team. Overall, we played well and will hopefully now understand what it takes to win the games against the best teams in the country down the stretch.
Jessie had a great start to the game. We did a good job against when they do ? shoot three times and put the ball on the floor.
Jessie got us going and kept us going the whole game. She was confident and had a quick trigger.
It's such a tough conference. You've got to play them all, and we're playing pretty well right now, so maybe it's not a bad thing to play one after the other.
Our kids talk about winning the league. If you want to be a serious contender, you have to go in and make a statement. Hopefully, the results will follow.
Washington played us incredibly tough and really just took us out of everything we wanted to run. It was a case of us not matching their intensity. We were too disorganized, coach included, to counter their intensity and execution.
