Honestly, I believed we could compete for the league championship. To get to the finals exceeded my expectations. Being realistic, these other teams get here year in and year out. We hadn't been since 1992.

To me, Spring Valley is the program you compare yourself to. As far as the big schools, you measure yourself against Spring Valley.

He's a lunch-pail guy. He's not the gifted athlete some other kids are but he gets good position, uses his body well and he's just relentless.
