Quite a lot of what we do before we adopt a building ordinance is to consider the way the building looks. City staff and the Planning and Zoning Board also pay attention.

Healthcare and higher education are, in my mind, much more critical than a playground for adults.

I'm really on the other side of this issue and I think it will be a spirited debate ? and a critical one for the community. So let the games begin as they say.

Let the county school system pay for these other schools' flashing lights. This is our charter school. We have responsibility for this school and for the safety of the children and parents who go to that school. I see no reason why we can't extend beyond the guidelines.

It's a tall order to fill. It would bring a lot of notoriety to Incline Village and it's another great chance to put Incline on the map, but I've called a few people in town and I'm just not sure we've got what they need.
