We thought it was going to be hard to do it with somebody who had never been there before.

I'm sure many people will get excited by it.

It's definitely a different show for the June lineup. We're in a place now where we've really broadened our programming enough to where it was possible to take a shot at [Anastasio]. We want the June Festival to be relevant for a young audience also.

It's not a cheap festival, whether it's the talent or the infrastructure. We feel very fortunate to be able to bring on a partner like this. And it's very good for anybody in our community who feels that the jazz festival is a positive asset.

And it just ended up working this time. Like a lot of things, it's just a timing thing.
