We have mutual aid right now with the Richland County health department, so we could call on the county as needed for inspections.

We have to do a lot of asking the public what their feelings are. We need input from the public to get a feel of whether we're going to get their support. There's no use putting something on the ballot if you're not going to get support.

At one time, 60 percent (of the income tax) went into the general fund, and 40 percent for capital improvements. Now, about 95 percent has to go into the general fund and 5 percent for capital improvements.

We turned our game around here the last couple of games. We out-played them, and we have to build off of that. Everybody has to keep giving 110 percent, and go from there. It?s going to turn around eventually. Hopefully sooner than later.
