HARTline operates the local routes. HART Express is a different service - different brand, new purple buses with different logos.

A number of people are getting dropped off there. We call them kiss-and-rides.

We needed a safe way for people to cross Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and the [Interstate 75] interchange.

We've been surveying the existing customers to get feedback from them on possible changes. We've had requests from 52X riders for additional stops so they can get to their workplaces.

We have entered into a formal written agreement for this contract.

In this case, the insurance demands were far more expensive than a public agency can afford.

Because this is a brand-new service, we really didn't have projections. We're pleased, but we know there's more potential.

We hope to make an announcement soon. The new location will be really important to this service.
