Some of the kids may have dropped out right away because they didn't understand how it works. Grooming the horses teaches you character and it teaches you fortitude.

That transportation cost would have to come out of someplace and would probably come out of classrooms. We don't think that's a good option.

This is winter and we live in Minnesota, but even if we have good snow plowing here that they don't have in Missouri or some other state, there's still an issue of getting roads clean so that buses and other people who are out taking their kids to school can be safe.

When I was approached I realized that this has to be the face of the future not only for education but also for the health of American children. If the concepts are proven, Rochester will consider expanding such an experimental environment in one of our elementary schools.

The increasing transportation costs that are being faced nationwide are severely impacting our budget and somehow we're going to have to make up for those increased costs.
