No doubt if she had been able to compete she'd be nationally ranked.

It's absolutely pouring right now, and it has been since one o'clock. The weather has been a disaster, but we'll get it done.

Winning that first one is a big confidence booster. I don't think the girls will be going to states (Feb. 27) thinking about finishing second.

We're off to a great start, but it's early yet. I thought both (boys and girls) competed very well as a team.

We're getting better and better, and we're skiing as a team instead of a bunch of talented individuals. That's really important at this time of year.

Every skier contributed to the scoring. We were very balanced.

Marquette is definitely the favorite, but I think our boys will be right there. If we ski the way we can, we'll qualify. It's as simple as that.

If we had Betsy we think we could have taken a run at Marquette (for the state title). But we still have a nice group. Even without her we're pretty good.
