I had one little opening, and I saw the shot clock running down, so I knew I had to take the shot or we were going to lose. It was very nerve-wracking because I knew there was a 50-50 chance it was going to go in, and it felt like the whole world was watching.

We just had to play better defense.

We felt that we could play with these guys. They're shooters and they jumped on us quick. Still, we felt we could win this if we came together and played Seaside basketball.

It was either turn the game around or turn in our uniforms.

I guess it wasn't meant for us to win a CCS title. That's three in two years that we've lost.

I was on that (Seaside) team.

We didn't want him putting up 30 on us. We tried to front him. He's just a good player.

When we get out on the break and execute, no one is quicker than us.

Everyone is out of the football mode. We got our legs under us.
