When he makes contact, it's sick what he does.

Good hitters don't tweak too much and they adjust very well. They try to recapture a feeling. With Jason and his makeup, (a slump) isn't going to last long. Good hitters can figure things out quickly, and he's a good hitter.

He's such a natural hitter. He works at it, don't get me wrong. You can't not work at it and be successful, but he's one of the guys who just shows up and can hit.

He's not leaving one stone unturned. Just because these are major-league players, he's not taking for granted that they know how to do things the way he expects them to be done.

But you don't strike out until after you get to two strikes. He does best when he's thinking small and not trying to hit a home run.

It's crazy -- absolutely crazy. He has a chance to be a special player. He has the power to shrink any ballpark.
