I am happy to say that after many years of hard work on promoting external defibrillators, the House of Representatives will vote on legislation on Tuesday to help save the lives of cardiac arrest victims.

We have already passed legislation in the House -- we've sent it to Mr. Daschle not once, but we've sent it to him twice.

If people see this as an election-year ploy, they will see it as having no substance.

You hear from these farmers that they're not rich. They go out and work some long hours with hopes of someday leaving what they've established over their lifetimes to their kids and grandkids.
