It's hard to go to a duals tournament with just eight guys. We give up six weight classes in every dual - 36 points - it is almost impossible to come back from that.

Riley Norton is wrestling better than I have seem him ever. He is coming out of his shell. It's great to see him come around like that, he is coming around at the right time.

Our region is probably one of the toughest with Sturgis, Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central. Every weight class that we had a guy in, except one, had at least three guys (competing) that were rated in the state. Some of them had four.

We had six pins and one decision. We didn't lose a match but we still lost, 42-39. They won by all forfeits. It's hard, but at the same time I can look at all my guys and say we won this dual. We didn't win in points, but when you get six pins and one decision and don't lose a match - mentally you won it.

Marc has been wrestling really tough. I have seen a 100 percent turnaround in the last couple weeks. He is doing a lot of good stuff and I have high expectations for him at state along with the other two that are going as well.

The guys wrestled pretty good. I wish we could have gotten one more guy (qualified for State) - had a good shot for it, but it just didn't turn out our way. The three guys that did make it are wrestling really tough right now. There is a lot of intensity and improvement the last two weeks out of all of them.

It's hard to get two byes and not have to wrestle until four.
