Mount Notre Dame is a big power and this is going to be our first major test, ... Our defense has been playing really well, but our midfield and attack passing have got to be better. We've got to communicate well and play together as a team.

Most of our experience is on defense with four veterans and an experienced goalkeeper back. But a lot of our kids haven't played a lot of varsity field hockey, so our first concern is getting all of them working together.

Academy, Upper Arlington and Thomas Worthington all look really strong again, so it's going to be a battle once we make it to the tournament. We need to build team unity and make sure we're a good, solid unit by that time.
