"Jamie Mitchell" is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Jack Ryder (actor)/Jack Ryder, who makes his first appearance on 9 November 1998. Ryder decided to leave in 2002, and his final episode aired Christmas Day 2002, when Jamie is killed off.

Jamie's main storylines involve his on-and-off relationship with Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy). Their relationship faces many struggles after Sonia gives birth to Rebecca Miller (EastEnders)/Chloe (Jade Sharif) at the age of 15, who is fathered by Martin Fowler (EastEnders)/Martin Fowler (James Alexandrou), whom she was with before she met Jamie, and is put to the test again when Jamie has sex with Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), along with many other problems. Another storyline that Jamie is involved in is his relationship with uncle Billy Mitchell (EastEnders)/Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), who used to beat him on a regular basis, though later forgives him.

One other major storyline is after his second cousin once removed and godfather, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), takes him in after finding out what Billy does to him. Phil then beats him sometime later which prompted thirty-one complaints to the Broadcasting Standards Commission. Towards the end of his time on EastEnders he gets engaged to Sonia, but gets run over by Martin and dies in hospital on Christmas Day of spleen damage.

It's really positive and our players are enjoying that attention.

We're having open tryouts for backup quarterback and punter today (Monday). Those two guys do so many things for us that it's really tough to lose them, even for a few weeks.

I don't think there's any question it's put us on the map. A lot of coaches didn't have any idea where we were in the beginning. They know about South Panola and Tupelo and Starkville and Meridian and Moss Point, but it's been nice to hear our school get some recognition.

People have said nasty things about us because of those scores. Then they find out those kids don't play anymore once the game is in control. They're playing less than half the game.

It really shocked me. Coach (Les) Miles from LSU was scheduled to be here (today). I really thought Anthony was leaning to LSU or Ole Miss, but I know Mississippi State wanted him badly. They've put in a ton of work on him lately.

He's got 65 points on his ACT; he needs 68. He's going to make it in his core (GPA). I absolutely expect him to qualify.

They were a deep team.

It's very difficult to schedule anytime you're a 5A school, especially when people know you have a solid team. At the time, we thought it was going to be a solid schedule, not overpowering.

We're having a change in administration (at Olive Branch), so I thought it's probably better for me to move on. Second, Fulton created a situation where I just couldn't say no. They are making a huge commitment to the program.
