The Central African Republic is free to close its border, but we regard the decision only as a gesture of courtesy with Chad rather than an objective move.

The foreign ministry has decided to close down its embassy in Baghdad and withdraw its diplomats there as of today (Friday).

It is a winner. Sudan is not losing.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is planning to request the Chadian ambassador to Khartoum to give an explanation of a decision taken by the Chadian government today for unilaterally breaking off its diplomatic ties with the Sudan.

We really hope and want to see a peace deal before the end of April, God willing.
