This is what it is. We ... have a chance to get to 20 wins this season. That's something to be proud of, and it's my job to get 'em motivated to keep playing. They'll keep playing.

With us losing this game tonight, it makes it anybody's game. I'd like to say we would be able to make it to the playoffs with no doubt, but now we might have to win every game to even have a shot.

It seemed like we slept through the first three innings and really put ourselves in a big hole. We need to play better ball from the first inning through the seventh, not just sleep-walk and hope things go our way.

It's about business and it's just a strict learning environment. There's no distractions. The teachers care. Everybody is just so supporting and it's just a great environment to be around.

Last Friday was a situation where it was pretty much a victory alone just coming to the game because of the situation and the tragedy that happened. We were flat and made a lot of mental errors, and we didn't play how we play West Brook baseball.

This was just a great game - two quality teams who battled all night. I hope they don't do this every time or I'll have a heart attack.

I'll tell you this much: Corrigan pitched like he was No. 1. We really didn't play bad baseball at all. But we just couldn't do anything on offense, and we looked at too many pitches. Against a pitcher like him, that's going to happen sometimes.

We need to win this game. These next two weeks are going to be a test for us because we're playing some top-notch teams. Memorial is greatly improved. They've got a good coaching staff over there, and they've done well. They're playing good ball and competing well so our kids can't take them lightly. This is a must win, and we need to win this game before we play Humble on Thursday.
