Builders are talking big. They all said they will build more houses in early 2006 than in early 2005. You don't have to worry that 2006 will be a good, strong market. But expect it to be a highly competitive market.

It's going to be another solid year, and I think the market will grow because we've got so much going on on the economic side. San Antonio is to me the best housing market in the state.

Looking ahead, 2006 and 2007 should be strong on the economic side, and the housing market should be, too.

We've been on this up cycle (for housing) for the last 15, 16 years.

These are the best of times for the San Antonio housing market. We are on the threshold of our best economy ever, and that, in turn, is the primary reason for grand expectations for our housing market over the next couple of years. San Antonio is turning into a big city and all the greatness that goes along with it.
