I'd like to see [Wilford] get on the field a little more, ... We'll see if we can get that done this week.

Like I say all of the time, you get what you earn in this league.

Good size, speed and some pass-rush ability. We'll let him come in and compete.

It was an opportunity to acquire a linebacker who's a good player and fits our system. It wasn't anything that was too costly or too difficult to pull off.

We anticipate in having him. I'm just trying to be as accurate as possible (about the injury). We're far more optimistic than we were two weeks ago.

For the most part, he has really devoted himself to being a special player for using and having a great year. We want to take advantage of what guys are capable of and put them in positions to make plays. I think you've seen early in camp here that he is poised to have an excellent year for us.

We see him as a guy who's played well, has started, so he has experience, has speed and can help us on (special) teams. We'll let him grow into a role.

I give him an A. It's a bottom-line business. David found a way to get a win. He did a nice job for us.

Getting him into the game healthy is the best option we have right now. It's not ideal [missing practice], but you have to do what you can to get your best players to the game on Sunday as prepared as possible.
