The irony is that for years the collection was just left in cardboard boxes. It's only when they rather conscientiously dusted it off and launched this rather impressive exhibition that the whole issue has surfaced again.
"Hugh Thomson" was an Irish people/Irish Illustration/Illustrator born at Coleraine near Londonderry. He is best known for his pen-and-ink illustrations of works by authors such as Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and J. M. Barrie.
