"Hossein Abedini" is an Iranian actor. His debut film was Pedar (Father), which was released in 1996 and directed by Majid Majidi. He received critical acclaim after portraying Lateef, a 17-year-old native Iranian boy in the 2001 film Baran (film)/Baran, which was also directed by Majid Majidi. His other films include Rasm-e ashegh-koshi (Tradition of lover killing) in 2004, Wind Blows in the Meadow (2009) and Rouyidan Dar Bad (Growing in the wind) in 2012.
