We don't know how much of (the trustee's) report was the independent assessment of the experts and how much was a result of the Commission's influence.

We have made every change the commission has asked us to make to the technical documentation, and we are prepared to do more if they request it. Yesterday's announcement underscores Microsoft's commitment to meeting the commission's demands.

Because there was a question about whether we were holding something back, offering the source code is the answer.

The Commission cannot unilaterally take away a fundamental right of defense.

We will file the answer tomorrow. We feel very good and very confident on the completeness of the documentation.

What we have submitted to the Commission responds to all the requirements they have made known to us.

Last week the Commission said it was premature for Microsoft to allege they are riding roughshod over our rights of defense. Today we are less than a week away from the deadline for filing our response and have been denied access to the complete file, so I suppose it is now official and they are indeed riding roughshod over our defense rights.

This would be the same as taking away the right to a hearing, or the right to respond to a statement of objections.

There is nothing more that can be done. Everything we do is now available to licensees as well.
