"Horace F. Williams" was a Wales/Welsh professional Association football/footballer.

Williams began his senior career in Scotland, playing for St. Johnstone F.C./St. Johnstone and then Hibernian F.C./Hibernian. He joined Dundee United F.C./Dundee Hibernian in July 1921 for a fee of £30. After scoring 13 goals in 25 appearances, he was transferred to Gillingham F.C./Gillingham in March 1922, having been transfer listed in December for £200. He finished as Dundee Hibs' top scorer despite leaving before the end of the season.

Williams went on to make a total of over 70 Football League appearances for Gillingham, New Brighton A.F.C./New Brighton and Blackpool F.C./Blackpool.

He seemed to be an optimist and remained an optimist. I heard that one of the last comments he made was that he said he was impressed with Coach O's recruiting and thought Ole Miss would have a good team next year.

He had problems remembering names. There was a lot of humor about that at his funeral.
