[Rose] has been very good for us, but we can't rely on one person. We're just hitting the ball right at them. I'm confident in our lineup. We just have to keep plugging away and hopefully the ball will hit the gaps.
We have to be on top of our game when we face them. There's a reason why they were picked to finish first.
Jessica kept her composure and is getting stronger each game. There's a lot of learning to pitch at this level and she's improving every time she's on the mound.
We played well the first two games. [In the third game] they caught us off guard a little. We just have to stay positive and take it to the rest of the conference.
We got caught in the rain when they got their runs. But that's no excuse for our defensive play.
Devin stayed within herself and relied on her mechanics. She's been one of our most consistent hitters.
It's a good start, in that we got to face them right off the bat. Now we know what has to be done. Hopefully a little luck will come our way.
Jessica pitched well. We just didn't back her up with runs.
We haven't been paying attention to wins or losses. Our character is getting tougher. Conference play is what it's all about.
