"Harbhajan Singh Plaha" born 3 July 1980 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India/Punjab, India), commonly known as "Harbhajan Singh", is an Indian cricketer and former captain of Indian Premier League/IPL team Mumbai Indians and Punjab state for the 2012–13 Ranji Trophy season. A specialist bowling (cricket)/bowler, he has the second-highest number of Test cricket/Test wickets by an off spinner, behind Sri Lanka national cricket team/Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan.

Harbhajan made his Test and One Day International (ODI) debuts in early 1998. His career was initially affected by investigations into the Throwing (cricket)/legality of his bowling action, as well as several disciplinary incidents. However in 2001, with leading leg spinner Anil Kumble injured, Harbhajan's career was resuscitated after Indian national cricket captains/Indian captain Sourav Ganguly called for his inclusion in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy team. In that series victory over Australian cricket team/Australia, Harbhajan established himself as the team's leading spinner by taking 32 wickets, becoming the first Indian bowler to take a hat trick in Test cricket.

I am satisfied after my performance in India-Sri Lanka series and expecting to repeat same in Pakistan.

They are playing at their home, so pressure will be on them. Because whenever a team visits India then we try hard to win. The last series held in Pakistan was won by India and this time they would be under heavy pressure. We are very much confident and can win the match. We will play positive and aggressive game, if we stick to our plan. We have very good chance to win the series.

We had very good plans against him about where to place our fielders and how to bowl to him. We were successful but I do miss watching him bat now. He is a stroke player and we tried to take away his boundary shots.

We will stick to our plan and play an aggressive game, the way we played recently against Sri Lanka and South Africa at home.

It is always a great pleasure bowling with Kumble. He is a great bowler. I always enjoy bowling with him and he did a very good job.

I am working with Ian Frazer and trying single wicket bowling and other new things to become a better cricketer.

I will try it. At the moment, I am not so confident bowling that ball.

It affected my performance in Zimbabwe tour as well. I could not concentrate on my game due to immense pressure that if I commit any mistake, the coach will definitely make it an issue against me.
